La Tania - situated at an altitude of 1350m and originally built as a dormitory for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics is nestled just a couple of kilometres away from Le Praz (Courchevel 1300) and in the other direction a road that leads to Meribel Village with a free shuttle service linking it to Courchevel. This charming family orientated village in a pretty woodland setting is a stark contrast to many French ski resorts with pretty wooden clad buildings and a piste side car-free centre. Part of the world  renowned Trois Vallees this resort boasts easy access to the big name players of Courchevel and Meribel whilst still being an affordable ski destination for the whole family.

The resort of La Tania has a relaxed family vibe, with some of the best ski runs of the 3 Vallees descending into the heart of the resort. Altho the resort is one of the lowest in the 3 Vallees the runs are equipped with world class snow making facilities and are also north facing leading to good snow conditions even late on in the season. These runs nestled amongst the tree are some of the best the Three Vallees have to offer on those bad weather days especially if the lifts at higher altitude are closed these great beginner / intermediate runs will usually be open.

The 'town' itself is centred at the bottom of the piste with all of the amenities within a few strides. Great restaurants a good lively apres ski scene with live bands and of course plenty of activities for children really do make this resort one of the best all round ski villages in the 3 Vallees.
